About
Although the 10.5cm leFH 18 was considered the standard artillery gun for Germany’s military, the 15cm sFH 18 was noted for the long firing range and effectiveness it offered as a heavy field howitzer. The Geschützwagen Panther was a proposed design that would combine a demountable sFH 18/4 with a Panther suspension. The proposal was issued in 1944; the Daimler-Benz company constructed one prototype before World War II ended.
