About
The original ISU-152 was developed starting in 1943, with the IS-2 tank chassis and a 152mm gun among its key components. After World War II, development continued, producing several variants. Work on what became the ISU-152K began in 1956. This variant incorporated such upgrades as increased ammunition capacity, a new commander’s cupola, and the engine of the T-54.
