T114 Battalion Anti-Tank
Tier 10 · usa · AT-SPG
About
Developed in the 1950s, the T114 was a tracked, four-person armored personnel carrier; its wheeled counterpart was the T115. Both vehicles were selected to be modified for use as infantry battalion anti-tank weapons. However, after initial designs were proposed in 1957, only the T114 was approved for further development. Six prototype T114 units were built, two of which were fitted with M40A1 recoilless rifles. Despite ultimately successful trials of these units, the program to pursue the T114 as an anti-tank measure was canceled in 1961.
