Flame Thrower Tank M67
Tier 8 · usa · medium
About
With the use of flame launchers having increased during World War II, the U.S. began design work on what became the Flamethrower Tank M67 in the early 1950s. It produced the first unit in 1955. The M67 was built using the chassis of the M48 Patton medium tank; its M6 flame gun was disguised with a false barrel to resemble a standard 90mm gun. In the years that followed, the U.S. Marine Corps remained particularly committed to fielding the tank. The “Zippo,” as it was called, saw service in Vietnam.
