In April 1954, there was a demand for increased firepower for the T-34 for the production years 1955 through 1960, but this time they had a completely different weapon in mind—a Czech 100 mm autoloaded and fully stabilized cannon. This demand, however, was not accepted by high command.The project was officially canceled on June 30, 1954.
