About

The M48A1 and M48A2 units in service with the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) under the name “Magach” received further updates for use in the 1968 War of Attrition. The new Magach 3 variant replaced the 90mm gun with the 105mm L7 cannon and added a low-profile commander’s cupola and new communications equipment as well.
