Artillerikanonvagn 151

In 1949, Sweden’s Royal Army Administration issued a request to develop a new artillery system using a 155mm gun. Although the request initially went to the Bofors design firm, the Landsverk firm took up the project in 1953, using a prototype chassis from the canceled KRV, or Kranvagn, project along with a Bofors oscillating turret. Landsverk presented its new prototype, dubbed the Artillerikanonvagn 151, in 1960, but the vehicle was passed over in favor of a design for a self-propelled gun built on the S-tank.
