The Soviet Union successfully produced a massive 152mm smoothbore cannon that it hoped would prove to be a reliable upgrade to its 125mm guns. It mounted the gun to a T-80 chassis to produce the prototype known as Object 292. Although the tank’s performance was favorable, the fall of the Soviet Union and the lack of funding ended the vehicle’s development. Manufactured by USSR
