Thrungva

Perhaps it was only natural among warriors that a goddess of love and passion would not be afraid to also make war. So the tales held that Freyja would claim the souls of half the fighters slain in combat and take them to her meadow realm, Folkvangr. Thrungva is a name associated with Freyja's divine presence; the vehicle that bears this name was made to press forward in battle and subdue enemies by force, clearing a path by which allies can claim glory.
