Chrysler K tank
Tier 0 · usa · medium · Escalation
About
During the second half of the 1960s, the U.S. and West Germany undertook the joint MBT-70/KPz-70 project to produce a main battle tank that could serve both countries’ military needs. At the same time, development also progressed on designs that incorporated the MBT-70’s XM150 combined gun/missile launcher. The K Tank was a design proposed by Chrysler that paired the XM150 with an M60’s hull and featured a narrow, sloped turret. It was ultimately not selected for production.
