About
Developed in 1975 to support Soviet airborne troops, Object 934 was designed to be an air-mobile, amphibious light tank. Among its features were a 100mm rifled gun, hydropneumatic suspension, and 400-hp engine located in the rear. Object 934 was never developed beyond the prototype phase, but it is believed to have influenced the design of the 2S25 Sprut-SD tank destroyer.
