About
Production of the British Army’s Warrior infantry fighting vehicle ceased in 1995. Before that, however, in 1993, the government of Kuwait ordered 254 Warrior units to be built with modifications that made them suitable for desert combat. The Desert Warrior’s main gun was a 25mm autocannon; the vehicle also mounted a coaxial machine gun and two TOW anti-tank guided missile launchers. Additional changes included improved air conditioning and increased armor protection.
