About
Since the 1990s and the “Future Tank Main Armament” program, France has participated in various projects to explore innovations in tank design. One such design was revealed to the public in July 2016, in a series of photos approved by the Technical Section of the French Army (STAT). The demonstration vehicle, dubbed “Terminateur,” was built by fitting a Leclerc main battle tank with a T4 turret that boasted a massive 140mm gun.
