Alvis Stormer 30

About
During the 1970s, the British Ministry of Defense experimented with modifications to the successful Scorpion armored vehicle that had been produced by manufacturer Alvis. Alvis secured rights to further develop the new vehicle, known as the FV4333, and in 1981 began production of what it now called the Stormer. Although the Stormer was an armored personnel carrier and was larger than the Scorpion, it was still air-portable and could be modified for several uses, such as air defense or minelaying. The Stormer 30 variant was revealed to the public in 1997.
