About
The T-72M1 designation refers to an enhanced version of the T-72M export model as well as its Polish and Czechoslovakian-built counterparts. Despite its name, however, its build most closely resembles that of the T-72A. Introduced in 1975, the T-72M1 features a 125mm gun, an enhanced fire control system, and ceramic rod composite armor.
