M24 Chaffee '53
Tier 0 · usa · light · Post War
About
Combining excellent firepower with sturdy armor protection, the M24 Chaffee was produced by Cadillac in response to a request from the U.S. Army for a light tank with a 75mm gun. Cadillac achieved this design by pairing the gun with a hull created for artillery systems. Although the M24 Chaffee entered service in 1944, late in World War II, it proved valuable as a reconnaissance and infantry support vehicle in the Korean War.
