About
Building on the T-80 design, the T-80B replaced the T-64 turret with a new design, adding a laser rangefinder, night vision, a new fire control system and a modified autoloader allowing the use of the 9M112-1 ATGM. The composite armor was also improved, and later versions included the ability to mount reactive armor.
