About
Although the Yugoslav People’s Army abandoned the M-320 project in 1956, efforts continued to develop a Yugoslavian version of the T-54. The M-636 featured a 520-hp engine, a 90mm gun, and space for a five-person crew. By 1963, however, relations between Yugoslavia and the Soviet Union had improved, and work on the M-636 ceased.
